Transport on New Year’s Eve:

It can be difficult to get a taxi on any holiday evening in Paris. We know from experience, however, that it is almost impossible to find an available taxi on New Year’s Eve around dinner time. That is why, by popular demand, we have arranged a chauffeured service for our clients. We can pick you up from your hotel in Paris to take you to your function at around 8pm and bring you back late at night at any time up to 4 am. Price: Shared minibus only 125 euros per person for transfer to and from your function on New Year’s night. You can order this with the New Year events shown below. Cancellation policy for the Christmas and New Year period, December 15th to January 15th: Reimbursement in full will be made if reservations are cancelled before 5 pm, November 15th, of this year, minus 5.9% for processing charges. No refund can be made for cancellations after this time. If a river cruise cannot be made in the unlikely event that the river is too high and navigation is cancelled, the cruise boat will remain at quay-side and all the dinner and dancing festivities will carry on as planned at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. And then at the fateful hour, see the spectacular light show for the Eiffel Tower’s 120th anniversary! In honor of this memorable anniversary, the Eiffel Tower is inviting Parisians and visitors to the capital to join in the festivities of this innovative light display. Following the regular 5 minutes during which the Tower sparkles, this special light display will last a further 12 minutes, starting with a dynamic light show evoking the extraordinary construction of the Tower. Next, showers of light, level-to-level facets and revolutions, stroboscopic and rhythmic effects, color blending… will offer a splendid tribute to the Eiffel Tower and its majestic structure. During the light show, the other facades of the monument will contribute an element to the choreography with varying lights. Also, images will be projected onto the ground below. And you will be just under it, on your boat, enjoying your dinner and toasting with champagne!

New Year’s Eve dinner in Paris with music and dancing

1. On the “Paris Cruiser” the evening lasts from 8 pm until dawn. Boarding starts at 8 pm at the foot of the Eiffel tower in the center of Paris. You will enjoy first a two-hour cruise on the river and then a four-course meal, with wine and Champagne. There will be a jazz trio and two singers playing dancing music until the wee hours of the morning. At midnight there will be a half-hour light show in the skies above the Eiffel Tower and you will be just under it, with the best possible seats. Dress code is as formal as possible: Dinner jacket or dark suit for gentlemen, evening wear for the ladies.

Rates per person: 750 euros for “Première Service”, 650 euros for “Select Service” and 500 euros for “Star Service”.

With Première Service you’ll have the best seats at the head of the boat, with a clear view and best waiter service.

With Select Service, the seats are at a window-side table.

With Star Service, the seats are in the middle part of the boat, not by the window.

The menu is the same in all three categories: All include a half-bottle of champagne, half a bottle of red wine, and half a bottle of white wine per person. Begin the evening champagne on the bank of the Seine followed by a three hour cruise with a backdrop of “the city of lights.” While you dine you’ll observe such famous sites as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the beautiful scenery of Paris at night accompanied by music and dancing with a DJ. If you are spending a few days in Paris, do not leave it to the last minute to think about your dinner reservations for all those other nights, December 23rd, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, and January 2nd and 3rd. For Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, please check availabilitiy with us. You may find everything full throughout the holiday period. Here are some really enjoyable dinner ideas. In all of these dinner packages, we will come and pick you up at your hotel, take you to your dinner and show and bring you back by minibus.
River cruise dinner:

Just 350 euros per person, Recommended! Available all nights except December 24th and 31st. Candlelit dinner (classic French cuisine) with live music, dance floor and musicians on a riverboat cruising the Seine River. Coat and tie required. See Paris at your own pace! A smart, cheerful, professional guide who speaks English (or the language you request) arrives at your hotel at the appointed time. He or she takes you out on a tailor-made visit of the city: to the monuments, the museums, the best shops, or off the beaten track. These visits work by the half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours). For an English speaking guide with chauffeured car the price is 850 euros for a half day and 1,450 euros for a full day during the period from December 24th to January 3rd. This full-day tour will allow you to visit all of the sites listed in the four-hour tour above but at greater leisure.

Located in the old royal palace, this famous museum is an immense treasure of paintings and artifacts. Our guide will show you the principal art works in the Louvre Museum (Mona Lisa, Winged Victory, Venus de Milo, and others), as well as some other sections, as time allows. Our guide can pick you up at your hotel, or you can save time by meeting at a convenient place near the museum. Light streaming through a window at château de Versailles

Half an hour’s drive from Paris, is the world-renowned château built by the Sun King, Louis XIV, in the 17th Century. Choose a morning or afternoon visit. Your guide will show you the royal apartments, the royal chapel, the Hall of Mirrors, etc. The château is surrounded by gardens which also merit attention. You will be whisked from your hotel early in the morning, or after lunch, and driven to Maintenon, 70 km west of Paris. In the summer time, flights have to take off with the morning currents of air. In the winter time, flights can also happen in the afternoons. You will enjoy a scenic and exhilarating one-hour balloon flight over the Château of Maintenon, the Aqueduc and the lovely green countryside of France. You will feel lighter than air as you float noiselessly over the beautiful scenery: castles, picturesque villages—don’t forget to bring your camera! When you land, you will enjoy a champagne toast to celebrate your flight. After the flight, you will be brought back to your hotel in Paris.

The flight is confirmed the night before by the pilot depending on weather conditions. (Do give us a mobile phone number to reach you). If there is a sudden change in the weather, he may rarely cancel on the day of the flight, because your safety is paramount. If the flight is cancelled due to bad weather, you will get a full refund. It is best to try to keep two days open for this excursion. You will be insured for the flight. Children under 10 and handicapped persons not allowed. Please be dressed sporty and warm. Helicopter ride around Paris

Are you bored with the usual ways of seeing the city? Well here’s something different! You will be picked up at your hotel by a chauffeured car and taken to a heliport near Paris. Then you’ll take off in a helicopter to come up to the edge of Paris (helicopters are not allowed to fly directly above the city). You will see the Eiffel Tower as close as is allowed. And then you will return to the pad via a flight over the Château de Versailles, a great sight. After you flight, you will brought back to your hotel by car.

In the unlikely event that the flight must be cancelled due to bad weather, you will get a full refund. But do try to keep two possible days for this exciting tour, in case you cannot fly on the first day. Flights are confirmed on the morning of the day between 9 and 11 am. Do remember to give us your cell phone number for this call.

Flights take place morning or afternoon every day. Hence you would be picked up at your hotel at 9 am or 1:30 pm.

One day tour: Your day starts at 7 am, when our hostess picks you up at your hotel to drive you to Orly airport. At 8 am you will fly to Nice on Air France, arriving at 9 am, where you will be met by your friendly English-speaking chauffeur and tour guide for the day. He will take you to your limousine and you’ll start your day of sightseeing of the French Riviera. Depending on how much you can take in, we can show you:

  • In the Morning: City tour of Nice. See this historic, Italian Baroque city, with its famous seaside “Promenade des Anglais”, flower market, fountains, museum and theatre.
  • Scenic drive to Monaco: along the high cliff road overlooking the sea.
  • Enjoy lunch on the way: in a garden restaurant on the cliffside, with lovely views over Monte Carlo bay (price of lunch not included).

Two-day Tour

You can extend your stay by a stay and enjoy a more leisurely visit. On the first night, end of the chauffeur visit at your hotel at 6 pm.

You can stay in a 3-star or a 4-star hotel in Nice or in Monaco. The next day, we can offer you once again the chauffeur and car from 9 am to 5 pm. At 5 pm you will end your day at Nice Airport, in time for your 6 pm flight back to Paris, as in the one day tour. You will need to check out before 12 noon from your hotel.

Cancellation policy for the Christmas and New Year period, December 15th to January 15th: Reimbursement in full will be made if reservations are cancelled before 5 pm, November 15th of this year, minus 5.9% for processing charges. No refund can be made for cancellations after this time. If a river cruise cannot be made in the unlikely event that the river is too high and navigation is cancelled, the cruise boat will remain at quay-side and all the dinner and dancing festivities will carry on as planned at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. No refund will be made.
