Morning Introductory Tour: popular monuments of Paris (4 hours)

Start off the morning by driving quickly through the city. Then visit either the Eiffel Tower, or Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur. If you go up to the tower, you need at least two hours, which will leave you only time to maybe do a river cruise as well. But if you don't go up you can do Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur.

Ideas for Lunch

After the morning tour you can have lunch. We have lots of ideas: you can start with the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, or if you are in Montmartre you can go to a nice friendly musical bistro. Also, you can choose a quick McDonald’s-type place.

We have some other surprise places; we’ll only tell you when you write!

Afternoon tours: discover great ideas for family fun!

We have plenty of ideas to spend a fun afternoon with your children:

1. One of the options is taking your children to some of the Paris museums. We can offer you a wide variety of interesting museums for kids:
   • Magic Museum
     Welcome to the museum where everything is possible! From white rabbits to vanishing tricks, here your children can experience the real meaning of magic!
   • Doll Museum
     A very interesting museum that offers a lot of activities for children and adults: cultural visits, story telling, workshopsæ
   • Musée Grévin (Wax museum)
     A place where all kind of celebrities can be seen. Three hundred wax figures are waiting to meet you, to be photographed with you, to be remembered forever.
   • Centre de la Mer (Marine Center)
     There is no better place to go to have all the answers to your kids’ questions about marine life.
   • Zoos (Parc zoologique/Zoo de Vincennes or the Menagerie in the Jardin des Plantes)
     An African reserveæ in Paris? Yes, here you can see all kind of exotic animals, as well as walk among the lions through a glass tunnelæ
   
2. Another possibility is taking them to the Parc de la Villette, the biggest park in Paris, which offers a lot of activities for children.
   • Of the 11 different gardens, three are specifically designed for kids. The Jardin du Dragon has a giant play structure and a slide in the shape of a dragon. In the Jardin des Brouillards they can look at beautiful fountains and water walls. And in the Jardin des Dunes, children can pedal their own windmill.
   • But one of the main attractions in Park de la Villette is the Cité des Sciences, a huge science complex that includes a kid's science museum: Cité des Enfants. For the greater enjoyment of young visitors, this unique space for active experimentation and exploration proposes a series of fun and educational activities divided into five thematic areas: I discover myself, I can do, I locate myself, All together, I experiment.
   • Another popular activity in this park is La Géode. For over 20 years this extraordinary IMAX theater has offered both children and adults a wide selection of large-format films on a giant 1,000m² hemispheric screen.
3. During the summer, you can take your kids to another nice park: Bois de Boulogne. When the kids need a break from sightseeing in Paris, you can relax in the Jardin d’Acclimatation. Here, they can take a 20 minute-ride on a charming 19th century-style miniature train, get a laugh in the fun house with mirrors, play mini-golf, rent bicycles or boats, or even see a puppet show! There are also several excellent playgrounds within the park with slides and climbing structures, one for kids over 10, the other for kids under 10. There is also the Maison Enchantée, a space of discovery for kids under 4 years old.
4. These, of course, were only some of the most popular activities. We also have some other interesting and funny ideas to keep your children busy:
   • Playmobil fun park
     Discover this family fun park, a place where your children can play in a Playmobil world.
   • The Circus
     Throughout the whole year, you can find a traditional circus in Paris: clowns, trapeze artists and jugglers are waiting for you!
     • Marionnette puppet show
       Let your kids relax with a lovely marionette puppet show. There are mny small theaters we know about.
   
   • Hot-air balloon rides
     You will enjoy a scenic and exhilarating one-hour balloon flight over the Château of Maintenon, the Aqueduc and the lovely green countryside of France. You will feel lighter than air as you float noiselessly over the beautiful scenery: castles, picturesque villages. an amazing experience for your kids!
   • Helicopter
     Let's do something different! Take off in a helicopter to come up to the edge of Paris! You will see the Eiffel Tower as close as is allowed, and then you will return to the pad via a flight over the Château de Versailles, a great sight.
5. Versailles and Marie-Antoinette’s Hamlet
   Half an hour’s drive from Paris, is the world-renowned château built by the Sun King, Louis XIV, in the 17th Century. Choose a morning or afternoon visit. Your guide will show you the royal apartments, the royal chapel, the Hall of Mirrors, etc. The castle is surrounded by gardens which also merit attention. In the summer enjoy a musical fountain display in the afternoon (8 euros extra per person). We can arrange lunch in a fine old- fashioned restaurant near the castle after your visit. Time: four hours including transport time. Please note: the Château de Versailles is closed on Mondays.
   From here, we would take you to Marie-Antoinette’s Hamlet, a very fun place for your children. The Hameau de la Reine is the rustic retreat that was built for Marie Antoinette. Disneyland (transfers + entrance tickets) (8 hours)

Pick-up at your hotel (by minibus) and transfer to Disneyland Paris by coach, where there are two parks:
Walt Disney Studios Park: The world of how films are made: Lights, camera, action! Go behind the scenes and see how cartoons are made, how special effects are created, the tricks used in cinema today: all the secrets revealed!
Disneyland Park: You travel through five imaginary countries: Main Street USA, Adventureland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, and Discoveryland. Many rides, gags and lots of action.

Day trip to Parc Astérix (transfers + entrance tickets) (8 hours)

Parc Astérix is a theme amusement park in France, based on the stories of Asterix (by Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny). It is situated approximately 35 km (22 miles) north of Paris. It is especially well known for its large variety of roller coasters, and has begun incorporating rides and themes from historic cultures such as the Romans and the ancient Greeks.

We would pick you up at your hotel and take you to the park. Our price will include the entrance tickets and pick-up and drop-off at your hotel.

Day trip to Château Vaux-le-Vicomte (8 hours)

Take a lovely one-hour drive to visit Château Vaux-le-Vicomte, the treasure of Nicolas Fouquet which rendered Louis the 14th mad with jealousy. After exploring the interior of the castle, you’ll have time to stroll through the gardens before heading back to Paris.

Vaux-le-Vicomte is a special place for children with many activities organised specially for them. Easter egg hunts, riddles, treasure hunts, costume tours, theatreæ Everything is designed to enable them to discover this page of French history.
In order to experience life at the King’s Court and discover the history of the castle, children can visit its state rooms and formal reception halls dressed as Princes, Princesses and Musketeers.
