Hot-air Balloon Ride over the Château of Maintenon

You will be whisked from your hotel early in the morning, or after lunch, and driven to Maintenon, 70 km west of Paris. In the summer time, flights have to take off with the morning currents of air. In the winter time, flights can also happen in the afternoons. You will enjoy a scenic and exhilarating one-hour balloon flight over the Château of Maintenon, the Aqueduct and the lovely green countryside of France. You will feel lighter than air as you float noiselessly over the beautiful scenery: castles, picturesque villages—don’t forget to bring your camera! When you land, you will enjoy a champagne toast to celebrate your flight. After the flight, you will be brought back to your hotel in Paris.

The flight is confirmed the night before by the pilot depending on weather conditions. (Do give us a mobile phone number to reach you). If there is a sudden change in the weather, he may rarely cancel on the day of the flight, because your safety is paramount. If the flight is cancelled due to bad weather, you will get a full refund. It is best to try to keep two days open for this excursion. You will be insured for the flight. Children under 10 and handicaped persons not allowed. Please be dressed sporty and warm. This will not be a fully private flight. There may be other persons in the balloon with you. We can arrange lunch in a lovely garden restaurant in the countryside or in Paris for 50€ per person.

Helicopter ride around Paris
(with door-to-door transfers)

Are you bored with the usual ways of seeing the city? Well here’s something different! You will be picked up at your hotel by a chauffeured car and taken to a heliport near Paris. Then you’ll take off in a helicopter to come up to the edge of Paris (helicopters are not allowed to fly directly above the city). You will see the Eiffel Tower as close as is allowed. And then you will return to the pad via a flight over the Château de Versailles, a great sight. After you flight, you will brought back to your hotel by car.

In the unlikely event that the flight must be cancelled, you will get a full refund. But do try to keep two possible days for this exciting tour, in case you cannot fly on the first day. Flights are confirmed on the morning of the day between 9 and 11 A.M. Do remember to give us your cell phone number for this call.

Flights take place morning or afternoon every day. Hence you would be picked up at your hotel at 9 A.M. or 1:30 P.M.

Loire Castles—Classic and Renaissance

You will be picked up at your hotel and then you’ll whiz down to Tours on the TGV, France’s famous high-speed train. In Tours, you will be met by your guide who will take you by minibus on a visit of three charming châteaux: on your own, visit Clos Lucé – where Leonardo da Vinci spent his final days, the beautiful castle Chenonceau – where you will have lunch (drinks not included), and Chambord – the largest of the Loire Castles. Finally, you will enjoy a wine tasting at Nitray Castle. Several other castles (Blois, Chaumont, Amboise) will be seen from the bus. A long day trip out of Paris. Day trip to London by Eurostar, with private guide and car in London. Door-step pickup.

You will be picked up from your hotel at 6 a.m. by a hostess and taxi, who will take you to the Gare du Nord train station in Paris. The hostess will remain with you till you check into the international train station, with your tickets in hand. Note: You will need your passport, and possibly a visa for England depending on your nationality. At 8:13 a.m. you will set off on the Eurostar for your two hour and twenty-minute ride to London. Breakfast on the train is included in First Class. After arrival at London St. Pancras, your private licensed guide for the day will welcome you with a placard with your name on it, and take you to waiting car or minibus. With your friendly guide, you will see all the most famous sites. You will see Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and the Tower of London. You can have a one hour boat ride (price included). You will have a part of your afternoon free for lunch and shopping. Lunch can be booked in a fine restaurant. After lunch you will have more time to continue your visit of the city. At 6:00 p.m. you will be driven to St Pancreas station for your return journey to Paris. Return train at 7 p.m. or 8 P.M. The 7:00 p.m. train will get you into Paris around 10:30 p.m. local time. Dinner on the train is included in First Class. The tour finishes at Paris Nord station, from where you will make your way back to your hotel by taxi. A great excursion in one day.

Nice, Cannes, Monaco: all in one day, by air from Paris!

You’re in Paris and you’ve never been to the French Riviera? Don’t pass up this chance: let us take you down to Nice and the French Riviera, show you the sights, and bring you back, all in one relaxing day! If you can spare two days, so much the betteræ

One day tour: Your day starts at 7 a.m., when our hostess picks you up at your hotel to drive you to Orly airport. At 8 am you will fly to Nice on Air France, arriving at 9 am, where you will be met by your friendly English-speaking chauffeur and tour guide for the day. He will take you to your limousine and you’ll start your day of sightseeing of the French Riviera. Depending on how much you can take in, we can show you:

• In the morning: City tour of Nice. See this historic, Italian Baroque city, with its famous seaside “Promenade des Anglais”, flower market, fountains, museum and theatre.
• Scenic drive to Monaco: along the high cliff road overlooking the sea.
• Enjoy lunch on the way in a garden restaurant on the cliffside, with lovely views over Monte Carlo bay (price of lunch not included).
• Visit Monte Carlo: Playground of the rich and famous, with its plush shops, port, famous casino (which opens at 2 p.m., in case you are in a hurry to hit the jackpot?).


• See the perfume factory of Eze: On your way back from Monte Carlo you can stop at the old perfume factory in Eze, and find out for yourself why France is famous for its perfumes.
• See Antibes and Cannes, an hour from Nice: Drive along the coast to the village of Antibes and then Cannes, of film festival fame. These are lovely, lush towns with splendid architecture and greenery.
• If time permits, have tea at the Martinez Hotel in Cannes, where movie stars stay during the film festival. Walk up the red-carpeted steps of the Palais des Congrès, where the film festival is held every year (price of tea not included).

But for us, you are the stars, and we will make sure you enjoy your visit! At 4 p.m. your chauffeur will start back for Nice airport to arrive at 5 P.M., in time for your 6 p.m. flight to Paris. You’ll be back in Paris at 7 p.m. . You will make your way back from Orly airport to your hotel by taxi on your own, a 20-minute drive, in time for dinner. You will see the highlights of the Côte d’Azur all in one day!

Includes transfer to airport, airfare to Nice and back, chauffered car for full day. Lunch near Monte Carlo, tea in Cannes not included.

Two-day tour

You can extend your visit by a night and enjoy a more leisurely visit. On the first night, end of the chauffeured visit at your hotel at 6 p.m.

You may stay in a 3- or 4-star hotel in Nice or in Monaco. The next day, we can again offer you the chauffeur and car from 9 am to 5 P.M.. At 5 P.M. you will end your day at Nice Airport, in time for your 6 p.m. flight back to Paris, as in the one day tour. You will need to check out by 12 noon from your hotel.

Extra supplement for second day, with chauffeured car for 8 hours, plus shared double room with breakfast in Nice or Monaco.
