These group tours are an economical and enjoyable way to see the various sights in the lovely countryside around Paris. We also have exciting tours to Normandy, the Loire Valley, Nice and the French Riviera, even to London and Bruges in Belgium!

Door-to-door service: Unless otherwise mentioned, a minibus with an English-speaking chauffeur/guide will pick you up at your hotel at the appointed time, take you on the tour and drop you off at your hotel (or other place in central Paris) at the end of the visit. A polite and courteous service. You need to be staying in central Paris for us to be able to offer you this door-to-door service. If you are staying outside of central Paris we can set up an alternative meeting point for you to join The tour.

Monday at Versailles

Mondays the Châteaux de Versailles is closed, but not for our VIP clients! You will be able to take a guided, private visit of select parts of the Châteaux: the little and grand Trianon, the park, and the Queen’s hamlet. A very useful outing on a day when many things are closed in France.

Giverny

Visit of the studio of Claude Monet, Master of Impressionism in Giverny. You will discover the beauty of the gardens captured by the painter, return across the Normandy countryside. This is about a one-hour drive from Paris, so you will see some of the green fields of France and pass through picturesque little villages.

Giverny + Versailles

Discover Monet’s house and Gardens (where the fabulous Waterlilies series was painted) in the village of Giverny, about an hour from Paris. You will then have lunch at the restaurant Au Moulin de Fourges (included) and then continue on to Versailles where you will see the gardens and buildings created by France’s Sun King, Louis the 14th. Visit the interior of the Château on your own. Entry tickets included, no waiting in line.

Auvers-sur-Oise and Giverny

After being picked up from your hotel, you’ll go on a guided tour of the village where Van Vogh spent the last days of his life painting some of his most beautiful paintings. Next, treat yourself to a show, “In the Time of your Impressionists” at the Château d’Auvers-sur-Oise, followed by lunch. Your afternoon ends with a visit of Giverny and the American Art museum. Champagne—Full Day

A little over an hour out of Paris, you can get some fresh air, and fresh drinks! Visit the Cathedral of Reims “traditional coronation site of the French Kings”. Loire Castles Classic and Renaissance

You will be picked up at your hotel and then you will whizz in just over an hour to the town of Tours on France’s famous high-speed train, the TGV. In Tours, you will be met by your local guide who will take you by minibus on a visit of three charming Châteaux. On your own, visit Clos Lucé where Leonardo da Vinci spent his final days, the beautiful castle Chenonceau where you will have lunch (drinks not included), and Chambord, the largest Loire castle. Finally, you will enjoy a wine tasting at Nitray Castle. Several other castles (Montrichard, Blois, Chaumont, Amboise) will be seen from the vehicle en route. Return by train and minibus to your hotel. For a supplement you can stay one night in a Château hotel and return the next day.

Loire Castles: Romantic and Medieval

You will be picked up at your hotel and take the TGV to Tours. Once in Tours, you will be met by your local guide who will take you by minibus to the Château of Villandry to visit its wonderful gardens. Next you will discover Azay le Rideau where you will have lunch (drinks not included). In the afternoon, you will see the impressive medieval fortress of Langeais and then Ussé Castle, which inspired the story of “Sleeping Beauty”. Return by train and minibus to your hotel. For a supplement you can stay one night in a Château hotel and return the next day.

Châteaux of the Loire Valley by Hot Air Balloon

Yes, by hot air balloon, you can see the lovely countryside of the Loire Valley and its beautiful châteaux (Chenonceau, Chaumont, Cheverny)! Door to door pick up and return from your hotel in Paris. A four-hour excursion with a one-hour balloon flight. Full refund in case of cancellation due to bad weather.

You will be picked up from your hotel and dropped off at the Gare de Lyon, where a hostess will accompany you to your train. You will arrive in Beaune two hours later where another hostess will meet you for a guided tour of the Beaune Hospices, where you will be treated to a delicious lunch. Afterwards, visit the famous wine routes and vineyards of the area. Return to your hotel around 7 p.m., just in time for dinner, where you can use the knowledge you gained on your tour to order a bottle of wine from Bourgogne!

You’ll be picked up at your hotel and taken on a trip on the fast TGV train to visit the beautiful abbey and pilgrimage destination built on top of the tiny rocky island on the Normandy coast. Lunch (drinks not included) in a restaurant with a view of the Mont. You’ll have time to stroll and visit the site on your own… the countryside, the ocean, and a lovely mysterious monument, all in one long day out of Paris! You’ll return to Paris by train and be dropped off at your hotel doorstep at the end. For a supplement you can stay one night in a château hotel and return the next day.

The French Riviera and Monaco—departure from Nice

After being picked up from your hotel, you will head to Cannes and the Lérins islands followed by a stroll along the famous Croisette boulevard. After viewing the celebrated Promenade des Anglais, you will enjoy lunch in a lovely restaurant in the Villefranche bay (drinks not included). Your tour continues along the Basse Corniche, to the principality of Monaco, where you will visit the race track and the Casino Square. Your day will end in the medieval village of Eze, where you will get a chance to visit the fabulous Fragonard Perfume factory.

The French Riviera and Monaco by air in one day—departure from Paris

Nice, Monaco and the Mediterranean Sea all in one day with departure and return to Paris! Doorstep pick up and drop off at the airport for your flight to Nice (scheduled flight in a Boeing). From there you will first visit Cannes (site of the famous film festival), the famous “Promenade des Anglais” in Nice, and the beautiful “basse corniche” road which leads you to Monte Carlo, Monaco, playground of the rich and famous. You’ll have lunch at a charming restaurant by the sea (drinks not included). Return via Eze, a medieval village, visit the Fragonard Perfume factory, and return to Paris on a scheduled flight. A grand tour to the lovely cities of the Mediterranean coast, all in one day! You are escorted beginning at your hotel to the end of the tour, when we bring you back to your hotel. All you have to do is sit back and relax.

Day trip to London by Eurostar

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning by a hostess and taxi. You will assemble with other passengers from other hotels and be taken to Gare du Nord in Paris. The same hostess will remain with you until you check into the international train station, with your tickets in hand. You will tak your seat on the Eurostar for your two-and-a-half-hour ride to London, departing at 8:13 a.m.. After arrival at London St. Pancras, a second hostess will escort you to your minibus, which will be waiting for you to take you around the city to visit the most famous sights. You will see Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and the Tower of London, with a recorded commentary in your language. You will have a part of your afternoon free for lunch and shopping, and will then return to St. Pancras station on your own. You will be told where and when to meet and board the train back. Return to Paris around 11 p.m.. Breakfast and dinner on the train included in first class. The tour finishes at Paris Nord station, where you will make your way back to your hotel by taxi, or public transport. Important: You will need your passport and visa for England.

Day trip to Bruges in Belgium by coach

A one-day visit of Bruges, the “Venice of the North”. The trip to Bruges is by comfortable coach and lasts about two and half hours. Once in Bruges, you will enjoy a guided walking tour, a cruise on the river, and free time for shopping and lunch in the afternoon. (Don’t forget to try the famous chocolates!) Return to hotel around 9 P.M. (passport needed).
