Versailles: Morning or Afternoon

Da Vinci Code Paris: walking group tour (no minibus)

“The da Vinci Code”, the controversial thriller by Dan Brown starts in Paris, and the first half of the novel takes place in the City of Lights. A fabulous idea! Have lunch at the Eiffel Tower restaurant and see the city in one afternoon. We pick you up at 11:30 am, and take you to lunch on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. With an early start at 9 or 9:30 am you take the tour of the city first in a minibus, and finish with lunch on the river cruise. After the lunch cruise you will be at the foot of the Eiffel tower, which you can explore and climb to the top at your leisure. Or you can start later, at 11:30 am, and move quickly to the lunch cruise on the Seine. After lunch you will enjoy a guided city tour of Paris in a minibus, to discover the heart of historic Paris and all its famous monuments. And after this we will drop you off at your hotel doorstep. The morning tour includes pick up from your hotel but ends at the Eiffel Tower.

Paris Orientation & Montmartre Visit: Morning or afternoon

You are picked up at your hotel, then taken for a visit of Paris with your guide. You will see all the main monuments of Paris: Notre Dame, Louvre (photo stop), Place Vendôme, Opera, Concorde, Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, Trocadéro (photo stop to see the Eiffel Tower with a good view), followed by a visit to Montmartre. Here you will see the lovely old section of Paris on a hill: Basilica Sacré-Cœur, the artists’ square, the vineyard, and so forth. You may leave the tour at Montmartre or you may rejoin the minibus to be taken back to your hotel. There are many charming restaurants to have lunch in this area.

Sunday in Montmartre plus visit to the famous Paris flea market

Visit Montmartre, the lovely old section of Paris on a hill. See the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur, the artists’ square, the vineyard, etc. A light lunch with a main course and a glass of wine is followed by a visit to the famous flea market where you will have free time to wander among antiques dating from the last four hundred years. This tour includes pick up and drop off from your hotel by minibus.

Paris Orientation, lunch and group guided tour of the Louvre museum

In the morning you are picked up at your hotel, then taken for a visit of Paris with your guide. Around midday, you will have lunch in one of Paris’ historic restaurants followed by a guided introductory visit to the Louvre Museum (entry tickets included). The tour ends at the museum, so you will be free to find your way back to your hotel, or you can linger and enjoy the museum further. This tour includes pick up (but not drop off) from your hotel by minibus.

Private Guided Tour of the Louvre Museum, or the Musée d’Orsay, the Pompidou Center, the Picasso Museum, or any other museum (no minibus)

Your guide will come and meet you at your hotel or you can meet her directly at a meeting point in front of the Louvre (private transportation not included, you can travel by métro, bus or taxi). You will then go on a three-hour guided tour of the world’s largest museum with your private, licensed guide who will show you the different departments ranging from Pharaonic Egypt to Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Entry tickets included, no waiting in line. Tour finishes at the Louvre, should you wish to continue your visit alone. This is the only tour in this list that does not include pick up or drop off from your hotel. Please note: The Louvre is closed on Tuesdays. This tour is interchangeable with the Musée d’Orsay, the Pompidou Center, the Pablo Picasso Museum, the Rodin Museum, or any other museum in Paris.

If your group is larger than five people, a group reservation must be made to visit the museum at an allocated time slot. This reservation costs 76 euros. Entrance tickets to museums must also be bought in addition to this fee at 15-18.50€ per person.

Wine Tasting: Cheese and Wine Tasting Lunch

You will experience what the French call the “art de vivre.” This new concept of a Tasting Lunch will allow you to learn a lot while enjoying delicious wine and cheese. Our tour includes the following: four tastings, including Champagne and three other wines (whites & reds). This is combined with a “plateau de fromage”, a “plateau de charcuterie”, cherry tomatoes, and selection of French breads and fruit basket. If you are interested in a fundamental introduction to the art of wine tasting, we offer a two-hour course with seven great wines from popular regions such as Alsace, Bordeaux, and Burgundy. Hot Air Balloon ride over Château de Maintenon near Paris

You will be whisked from your hotel early in the morning and driven to Maintenon, a hundred miles west of Paris. You will enjoy a scenic and exhilarating one-hour balloon flight over château de Maintenon, the Aqueduct, and the lovely green countryside of France. You will feel lighter than air as you float noiselessly over the beautiful scenery: castles, picturesque villages—don’t forget to bring your camera! When you land, you will enjoy a champagne toast to celebrate your flight. After the journey, you will be brought back to Paris and dropped off at your hotel.
