<BODY> <H1>Château Vaux-le-Vicomte</H1> Head to the South of Paris to visit the castle, built by Nicolas Fouquet, that drove King Louis the 14th mad with jealousy, such is the extent of its splendor. Louis the 14th could not stand to be upstaged, and had Fouquet sent to prison for embezzlement. He then hired away Fouquets architect, Charles Le Brun, and his gardner, André Le Nôtre, and had them design and build his château de Versailles.</P> <P>After visiting the carriage museum, youll see the Château and its gardens at sunset.
